If you want to tailor your pathway further, you can choose the open major. This major allows you to choose units from across Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice. 

Your degree features: 

  • six common units that develop key creative, critical and professional skills in the humanities and social sciences. 
  • Choose an eight unit major (or build your own with the Open major) to develop knowledge and skills highly valued not just in Australia, but in global contexts. 
  • Eight complimentary units that allow you to either: 
    • Extend your expertise through electives, or 
    • Diversify your skills with a second major or minor. 
  • Four QUT You units - Our university-wide curriculum designed to prepare you for a rapidly changing future.

Double Degrees

Combine your Bachelor of Arts with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and graduate with two qualifications in just 5.5 years.  This future-focused double degree prepares you to shape the evolving relationship between law, technology, culture, and society.
