This vertical double degree is designed for individuals who have a strong interest in science and want to develop advanced skills in data science. In this degree, you will gain a solid foundation in science and statistics, and deepen your knowledge in your chosen science major. 

As a graduate of this vertical double degree, you will be proficient in various data analytics tools and techniques, enabling you to generate valuable insights that drive decision-making across a wide range of scientific disciplines.

Science component

We integrate theory and practice with a strong focus on experimental design so you’ll gain real-world scientific expertise from laboratory investigations, field-based observations and data collection. You’ll start hands-on lab, research and fieldwork skills sessions in your first year. Our query-based learning approach will set you up to be employable in a range of industries and work environments, underpinned by your scientific knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our research informs our course content. Throughout your studies, you will have the opportunity to learn from world-leading researchers and take advantage of the facilities and equipment they use in their work.
