Bachelor of Business 

Our business degrees are uniquely designed to inspire you to realise your full potential, to think entrepreneurially, and to ethically and sustainably shape the future of business. 

Develop business skills and be able to think creatively and critically, communicate professionally, make ethical business decisions and work in a global context. 

Choose an area of business to specialise in from the range of majors offered in the Bachelor of Business. You will graduate with deep knowledge and experience, equipping you to become an expert in your chosen field.  

Graduates of the business and communication double degree can find careers as media or entertainment producers, public relations consultants or international business specialists. 

Bachelor of Communication (Screen Industries) 

Offering an interdisciplinary pathway into the commercial screen sector, this major blends media analysis, cultural insight and production literacy. The screen industries are undergoing rapid transformation, presenting professionals with fresh opportunities and challenges to create compelling media experiences across emerging platforms. This major is thoughtfully designed to address digital disruption, offering students the interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in this fast-changing field.  

It covers everything from industry structures and evolving audience dynamics to the essentials of screen production and project management, making it ideal for those aiming for careers beyond traditional production roles. This major will suit students interested in screen development, media distribution, marketing, audience research, policy and leadership.

Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the subject/s listed below. If you don't have the subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge:

  • English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)

And for Accountancy, Finance, Economics, and Marketing majors: General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C).
