Maximise your studies
'In my Engineering and Architecture double degree, I love going from coding and maths to sketching and learning about architectural history all in one day. The diverse coursework excites me, and I'm grateful for the Women in Engineering Scholarship that supports my studies with technology and resources. I'm also looking forward to participating in the Architecture and Built Environment Study Tour to Paris.'

Flexible thinking
'I enjoy studying a double degree in architecture and engineering because it gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for maths and physics with my flair for design. I love being able to go from sketching and designing buildings in a studio to solving complex physics problems in a tutorial all in one day. This is what excites me and motivates me. I have also found that my engineering degree has given me a more well-rounded perspective on architecture and vice versa.'

Creative and analytical double degree
'When coming in to the double degree, I thought I would struggle because the parts of my course are so different and require me to use both the creative and analytical sides of my brain. However, my study plan as been setup so well by QUT that my units from one part of my degree are valuable to the other. Both parts of my double degree have taught me real-world skills and concepts that I have used directly in my internship and indirectly in other areas such as my design portfolio for architecture.'
