Why choose this course?

Employers are looking to hire graduates with advanced skills in robotics and AI technology to modernise their processes and future-proof their industries using automation systems. You will graduate ready to lead complex projects in robotics and AI and will develop important data analytics skills that will provide value to future employers and help you get ahead with your career. The data analytics component of your degree will teach you to turn data into insight and intelligence to drive change and make key decisions.

This course is designed for engineers with a background in computer and software systems, electrical, aerospace, electronics or mechatronics engineering looking to upskill in robotics and AI.

Why choose this course?

Robots and autonomous systems are a key driver of skills change globally, which is leading to an increase in programming and systems thinking skills which are essential for managing autonomous technology. This change has also led to AI and machine learning specialists becoming the third-fastest growing job between 2025-2030 globally (World Economic Forum Future of Jobs Report 2025). The growing demand for AI expertise is leading to an estimated shortfall of 60,000 AI professionals by 2027 so now is the ideal time to advance your career and develop AI expertise (ACS Australia’s Digital Pulse 2025).
