Are you eager to advance your career in international business, with aspirations of stepping into a global leadership role? If you answered yes, and you're enthusiastic about working in a global market, exploring different parts of the world, and expanding your organisation's audience internationally, consider studying QUT's Graduate Certificate in Business (International Business).
Flexible delivery
Units in this postgraduate program are delivered using a mix of face-to-face, online and blended learning technologies. All course materials are placed online including course lecture materials, practical session guides, readings and help guides.
This program is ideal for individuals who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of international business. As part of this program, you’ll explore the international business environment across various disciplines, such as accounting, finance, logistics, management, and marketing.
Additionally, you will develop your cultural intelligence (CQ). In today's highly globalised business environment, workplaces are more diverse than ever, making it crucial for business leaders to adapt to new cultural settings and work effectively with others. To build your CQ and enhance your leadership skills, you’ll engage with theoretical frameworks to understand key aspects of CQ, enabling you to interpret differences in cultural behaviour. Simultaneously, you'll develop practical skills to respond appropriately and effectively in culturally diverse situations.
Moreover, you’ll examine the approaches and technologies employed by enterprises to investigate business issues and develop insights guiding effective business strategy. Through hands-on application of key theories and business research tools, you'll gain skills in collecting and analysing data about the business environment (e.g., consumers and competitors) as well as its internal processes and generate insights to help businesses create value through innovation, product development and process improvement.
