Developed in collaboration with industry and delivered by world-class academics, the program blends applied learning with executive-level insight. You’ll build your professional network, study alongside ambitious, like-minded peers, and broaden your perspective through global learning experiences.
From your first day in the program, you’ll join a community of senior professionals focused on leadership transformation. The QUT Executive MBA is structured around immersive learning, collaboration, and reflection, ensuring that each unit directly connects to your professional context.
The learning environment is designed for executives—interactive, small-group based, and supported by personalised coaching and mentoring. You’ll engage in dynamic discussions, live case studies, and experiential learning activities that allow you to apply insights immediately within your workplace.
At the end of the first year of your Executive MBA, you’ll choose between two specialised leadership pathways. Each providing a distinct lens through which to build capability and confidence:
International leadership
Explore global business, stakeholder engagement, and entrepreneurship, culminating in the MIT Sloan Immersion Program—an international learning experience focused on innovation and leadership in complex systems.
Complex program leadership and strategic procurement
Develop expertise in leading large-scale, high-risk, and globally distributed projects. This stream draws on more than 15 years of QUT experience in complex program delivery, strategic procurement, and risk management.
Evidence-Based, practice-focused curriculum

Your leadership growth is supported throughout the program by structured, individualised guidance.
In the first half of the program, you will work with an executive coach who provides feedback on leadership style, supports development goals, and offers practical guidance for applying learning in your role.
In the second half of the program, you will be paired with a senior executive or board member as your mentor – meeting monthly to explore leadership, decision-making and governance.

What can you do with an EMBA?
Our EMBA postgraduate degree will equip you with advanced leadership and management skills to take the next step toward achieving your goals. Throughout the EMBA program you will:
- develop advanced leadership skills including strategic thinking, decision-making and leading organisational change
- grow global business expertise with an understanding of global markets, cross-cultural management and international business strategy

This course includes a two-week international study tour. The cost is:
- $8,500 (approximate) for the international leadership study tour
- $10,000 (approximate) for the complex program leadership study tour.
This includes all in-country transportation, accommodation, company and site visits, and most meals.
