In the business component of the course, you can choose a major in accounting, advertising, economics, finance, financial planning, management, marketing, human resource management, international business and public relations. For your justice studies, you can choose between majors in policy and politics or criminology and policing, giving a broad range of specialty areas to focus your career on.

Bachelor of Business
Our Bachelor of Business degree equips you to confidently enter the modern business world. Bachelor of Justice
The policy and politics major offers you the opportunity to learn policy analysis and the intricacies of how government officers research, analyse, recommend and develop policies in the justice sphere. It gives you an insight into how policy is implemented and critiqued, and evolves through government and its departments.
The criminology and policing major details punishment and penal policy, crime research methods, and your choice of units in eco crime, sex crime, death investigation, crime in pop culture, drugs and intelligence, among others.
You will benefit from academic staff who have worked in these areas and bring real-life examples and experience to your learning. You will also have the chance to form industry links in a professional placement unit, undertaking a project at an external organisation.

In order to complete this course, you must complete a total of 384 credit points comprising 180 credit points from the Bachelor of Business, 180 credit points from the Bachelor of Justice and 24 credit points of QUT You. You will undertake the two components of the double degree concurrently.
Business component: You must complete 84 credit points of Business core units together with a 96 credit point Business major. You will choose a major from Accounting, Advertising, Behavioural Economics, Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Financial Planning, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing or Public Relations.
Justice component: Justice Students must select a major from the following: Criminology and Policing or Policy and Politics. The Justice component is made up of seven core units: 84 credit points and eight major units: 96 credit points.
QUT You component: 24 credit points selected from the QUT You option units.
