Tailor your justice degree to your interests by choosing a major in either criminology and violence prevention, intelligence and investigations, or policy, politics and social reform. By combining these majors with the range of majors in the Bachelor of Business, you can delve into careers like financial fraud investigation, where understanding both corporate operations and legal frameworks is crucial. It also enhances capabilities in HR investigations by fostering a strong grasp of organisational behaviour alongside compliance and justice principles. Students can also learn to support ethical decision making and communication to drive social change.

This course is designed with the flexibility to suit your passion for justice and business.  

With three majors to choose from in the Bachelor of Justice you can take the path of your choice across:  

  • Intelligence and investigations – this first of its kind major in Australia, will explore how to use intelligence to conduct ethical and culturally competent investigations. Students will gain an understanding of multiple intelligence systems, the intelligence process and how to navigate the complexities of working with multiple stakeholders.   
  • Criminology and violence prevention – this major explores the criminal justice system through real-world learning, with a focus on violence prevention and community safety. You'll gain insights from leading experts into trauma informed practice, child protection, youth crime and research methods. 
  • Policy, politics and social reform – this major empowers students to drive social change by shaping policies that address injustice. It focuses on supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities through political and policy-based solutions. 

The Bachelor of Business allows you to specialise in one our majors and develop your general business knowledge through core units. You will:
